Kuna homeowners deal with the same Treasure Valley weather as the rest of the valley: winter snow and ice, spring hail, strong wind gusts, and summer wildfire smoke. Roofs here also vary with the local housing: open, windy exposure south of the valley and many newer homes.
Before work starts, ask the contractor whether a permit is required in Kuna or your county and who will pull it.
