Boise homeowners deal with the same Treasure Valley weather as the rest of the valley: winter snow and ice, spring hail, strong wind gusts, and summer wildfire smoke. Roofs here also vary with the local housing: foothills homes in wildfire-prone areas, older North End and Bench houses, and growing neighborhoods in southeast Boise.
Before work starts, ask the contractor whether a permit is required in Boise or your county and who will pull it.
